Genetic association scan of 32 osteoarthritis susceptibility genes identified TP63 associated with an endemic osteoarthritis, Kashin-Beck disease
Bolun Cheng,Chujun Liang,Xuena Yang,Ping Li,Li Liu,Shiqiang Cheng,Yumeng Jia,Lu Zhang,Mei Ma,Xin Qi,Yao Yao,Xiaomeng Chu,Jing Ye,Chao Lu,Xiong Guo,Yan Wen,Feng Zhang +16 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper performed a genetic association scan of 32 OA susceptibility genes with Kashin-Beck disease (KBD) in 898 Han Chinese subjects and found that TP63 was significantly upregulated in KBD articular cartilage in both mRNA and protein level compared with the controls.

Dietary Habit Is Associated with Depression and Intelligence: An Observational and Genome-Wide Environmental Interaction Analysis in the UK Biobank Cohort.
Bolun Cheng,Xiaomeng Chu,Xuena Yang,Yan Wen,Yumeng Jia,Chujun Liang,Yao Yao,Jing Ye,Shiqiang Cheng,Li Liu,Cuiyan Wu,Feng Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the association of dietary habits with depression and fluid intelligence was investigated by using PLINK 2.0 to detect the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) × dietary habit interaction effect on the risks of depression.

Jingxi Zhang,Peilin Meng,Chuyu Pan,Jing Ye,Huijie Zhang,Chun'e Li,Yujing Chen,Zhen Zhang,Shiqiang Cheng,Li Liu,Xuena Yang,Yao Yao,Yumeng Jia,Feng Zhang +13 more
- 01 Oct 2021
TL;DR: It is found that maternal smoking during pregnancy was related to short sleep and long sleep duration of female offspring (P < 0.001), which suggested a significant effect of maternalsmoking during pregnancy on short sleep offemale offspring.
Integrative Genomic Enrichment Analysis Identified the Brain Regions and Development Stages Related to Anorexia Nervosa and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
Bolun Cheng,Xin Qi,Chujun Liang,Lu Zhang,Mei Ma,Ping Li,Li Liu,Shiqiang Cheng,Yao Yao,Xiaomeng Chu,Jing Ye,Yan Wen,Yumeng Jia,Feng Zhang +13 more
TL;DR: This study provides novel clues for describing the spatial and temporal features of brain development in the pathogenesis of anorexia nervosa and OCD.
Evaluating the genetic effects of sex hormone traits on the development of mental traits: a polygenic score analysis and gene-environment-wide interaction study in UK Biobank cohort
TL;DR: The genetic effects of sex hormone traits on the development of intelligence and the frequency of alcohol consumption in middle-aged adults in UK support that of a two-stage genome-wide association study.
