Platinums sensitize human epithelial tumor cells to lymphotoxin α by inhibiting NF-κB-dependent transcription
Yijun Shen,Jing Wang,Tong Yang,Yuhong Li,Wenqi Jiang,Zhongzhen Guan,Zheng Wang,Jingwei Tan,Jinsong Wu,Gang Li,Qing Xu,Fang Wu,Luochun Wang,Yanjun Liu +13 more
TL;DR: The results suggested that a proper combination of bio-agents such as LTα and conventional chemotherapeutic drugs such as platinums may be an efficient treatment strategy for human epithelial cancers.

Use of lymphotoxin for sensitizing tumor cells to chemotherapeutic drugs
Yanjun Liu,Yijun Shen,Tong Yang,Jing Wang +3 more
- 16 Nov 2007
TL;DR: Lymphotoxin (LT) is used to sensitize tumor cells of epidermis source to chemotherapeutic drugs, and Administration of LT along with chemotherapy has obvious synergic action for killing effect of tumor Cells of epidersmis source.

Indomethacin enhances the cytotoxicity of recombinant human lymphotoxin alpha on tumor cells by suppressing NFkappaB signaling.
Yijun Shen,Tong Yang,Jing Wang,Qing Xu,Rong Li,Wei Pan,Gang Li,Zheng Wang,Jingwei Tan,Jinsong Wu,Fang Wu,Luochun Wang,Yanjun Liu +12 more
TL;DR: Pre-treatment with low dose of indomethacin enhanced the cytotoxicity of rhLTα and/or cisplatin/adriamycin on human tumor cells and suppressed the activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) by inhibiting phosphorylation and degradation of IκB-α.
