Synthesis of Difluoromethylated Carbinols via a HFIP-Promoted Hydroxydifluoromethylation of Aniline, Indole, and Pyrrole Derivatives with Difluoroacetaldehyde Ethyl Hemiacetal.
TL;DR: A hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP)-promoted hydroxydifluoromethylation of aniline, indole, and pyrrole derivatives with difluoroacetaldehyde ethyl hemiacetal has been developed as mentioned in this paper .

Direct benzylic C−H difluoroalkylation with difluoroenoxysilanes by transition metal-free photoredox catalysis
TL;DR: In this article , a visible light promoted direct benzylic C−H difluoroalkylation with Difluoroenoxysilanes has been developed catalyzed by Na2-eosin Y via HAT-ORPC pathway.

Palladium-Catalyzed C-H Allylation/Annulation Reaction of Amides and Allylic Alcohols: Regioselective Construction of Vinyl-Substituted 3,4-Dihydroisoquinolones.
TL;DR: In this article , a cascade cyclization approach of allylic alcohols involving C-H allylation has been reported, which has not been reported previously for N-sulfonyl amides.

TfOH-catalyzed direct Michael addition and cascade cyclization reactions of unactivated ketones: A divergent route to functionalized benzofurans and benzofuro[3,2-b]pyridines
Manman Sun,Jing Gui,Rong-Qing Zhong,Haijian Wu,Saimei Liu,Jinshan Li,Jianguo Yang,Zhiming Wang +7 more
TL;DR: TfOH-catalyzed direct Michael addition and cascade cyclization reactions of azadienes with unactivated ketones have been developed by controlling the amount of TfOH, which provide a divergent approach to 2,3disubstituted benzofurans and benzofuro[3,2-b]pyridines as discussed by the authors .

HFIP-Promoted Selective Hydroxyalkylation of Aniline Derivatives with Arylglyoxal Hydrates.
TL;DR: The synthetic potential of this HFIP-promoted highly selective hydroxyalkylation of aniline derivatives with arylglyoxal hydrates has been demonstrated by the facile synthesis of several structurally interesting molecules such as benzil, 1,2,4-triazine, quinoxaline, hydantoin, and 2-thiohydantoin with aromatic amine units.
