Opening Magnetic Hysteresis by Axial Ferromagnetic Coupling: From Mono-Decker to Double-Decker Metallacrown
Jin Wang,Quan-Wen Li,Si-Guo Wu,Yan-Cong Chen,Rui-Chen Wan,Guo-Zhang Huang,Yang Liu,Jun-Liang Liu,Daniel Reta,Marcus J. Giansiracusa,Zhenxing Wang,Nicholas F. Chilton,Ming-Liang Tong +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the axial ferromagnetic Dy-Dy coupling suppresses fast quantum tunnelling of magnetization (QTM) and holds the largest effective energy barriers for any reported d-f SMMs up to 625 cm-1.

Cyanometallate-Bridged Didysprosium Single-Molecule Magnets Constructed with Single-Ion Magnet Building Block
Yang Liu,Yan-Cong Chen,Jiang Liu,Wen-Bin Chen,Guo-Zhang Huang,Si-Guo Wu,Jin Wang,Jun-Liang Liu,Ming-Liang Tong +8 more
TL;DR: The building block approach for the synthesis of a family of dilanthanide single-molecule magnets bridged with a cyanometallate starting from a monolanthanide SMM is shown.

Building Block and Directional Bonding Approaches for the Synthesis of {DyMn4}n (n = 2, 3) Metallacrown Assemblies
TL;DR: In this article, four 3d-4f heterometallic complexes based on salicylhydroxamic acid (H3sha) have been synthesized and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that all complexes are comprised of {Dy[12-MCsha,Mn(III)-4]}n (n = 2 or 3, MC = metallacrown) supramolecular architectures, where the MC building blocks are further ligated by the ditopic subunit ligands with different lengths and bite angles.

Single-ion magnet and luminescent properties in a Dy(III) triangular dodecahedral complex
Guang Lu,Jin Wang,Cui-Juan Zhang,Sukhen Bala,Yan-Cong Chen,Guo-Zhang Huang,Zhao-Ping Ni,Ming-Liang Tong +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a single-ion magnet (SIM) with the highest effective energy barrier (Ueff) over 1000 K was reported and the structural, magnetic and luminescent properties of the SIM have been investigated.

Anion sensing properties of gold(I) thiolate complexes bearing urea groups: Synthesis, characterization, and photophysical studies
TL;DR: A series of gold(I) thiolate complexes with urea units have been synthesized and characterized in this article and their photophysical properties, as well as anion sensing properties in CHCl 3, have been studied.
