Structure of the cytochrome aa3 -600 heme-copper menaquinol oxidase bound to inhibitor HQNO shows TM0 is part of the quinol binding site.
Jingjing Xu,Ziqiao Ding,Bing Liu,Sophia M. Yi,Jiao Li,Zhengguang Zhang,Yuchen Liu,Jin Li,Liu Liu,Aiwu Zhou,Robert B. Gennis,Jiapeng Zhu +11 more
TL;DR: The structure of a quinol oxidase is described that clearly defines the protein features that have evolved to allow oxidation of a membrane-bound quinols as a substrate and shows that TM0 forms part of a cleft to accommodate the menaquinol-7 substrate.

Genetic susceptibility to high myopia in Han Chinese population
Yufei Li,Ying Zhang,Ping Zhang,Lei Gao,Qingyue Ma,Jin Li,Sheng-Li Wang,Bing Liu,Xinye Wang,Chao Meng +9 more
TL;DR: The findings indicated that rs2236416 of MMP-9 was associated with myopia in the population, and suggested M MP-9 gene locus may play a role in myopia.
