Long-term trends of ozone and precursors from 2013 to 2020 in a megacity (Chengdu), China: Evidence of changing emissions and chemistry
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper investigated the changes in meteorological variability and biogenic emissions in Chengdu over 2013-2020 based on extensive ambient measurements, emission inventory, and satellite data.

Joint pollution and source apportionment of PM2.5 among three different urban environments in Sichuan Basin, China.
Jin Fan,Yanan Shang,Xiaojiao Zhang,Xinni Wu,Meng Zhang,Jiayang Cao,Bin Luo,Xiaoling Zhang,Shigong Wang,Shuangzhi Li,Hangqi Liu,Pingli Wu +11 more
TL;DR: The study results suggest that the joint PM2.5 pollution among the three cities mainly occurred in autumn and winter, and the air quality of Chengdu and Leshan was largely affected by Dazhou, which had the highest level of ionic pollution.

Meteorological rhythms of respiratory and circulatory diseases revealed by Harmonic Analysis
TL;DR: By decomposing the sequence of respiratory and circulatory diseases as well as recognizing their meteorological rhythms, different responses to meteorological conditions on various time scales were identified.

Investigation of the “dust reservoir effect” of the Tarim Basin using WRF-GOCART model
Jin Fan,Yanan Shang,Qiang Chen,Shigong Wang,Xiaoling Zhang,Lei Zhang,Ying Zhang,Xu Xuanye,Jiang Peiya +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a historical severe dust episode was reconstructed and the subsequent dust behavior influenced by the topography was investigated by using the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model coupled with the Goddard Chemistry Aerosol Radiation and Transport (GOCART) model.
