A highly selective copper fluorescent indicator based on aminoquinoline substituted BODIPY
TL;DR: In this article, a highly selective fluorescent indicator for copper, substituted with an aminoquinoline group at the position 3 or 5 of the BODIPY has been synthesized, which shows 50nm bathochromic shifts with a change of solution color and a large increase in the fluorescence intensity.

Synthesis and Substitution of 8‐(4,6‐Dichloropyrimidin‐5‐yl)‐BODIPY
Volker Leen,Florian T. Schevenels,Jie Cui,Chan Xu,Wensheng Yang,Xiaoliang Tang,Weisheng Liu,Wenwu Qin,Wim M. De Borggraeve,Noël Boens,Wim Dehaen +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that meso-Dichloropyrimidyl-BODIPY dyes are readily substituted by nucleophiles or through palladium-catalysed coupling reactions, while retaining excellent quantum yields of fluorescence.

Formal [4 + 1] cycloadditions of ketiminoboranes and isonitriles
Jie Cui,Tongdao Wang +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a cycloaddition reaction of ketiminoboranes with isonitriles is described, which could successfully incorporate HB(C6F5)2, 2,5-dimethylhexa-2,4-diene, nitriles, and isonitriitriou-naphroxymethylhexane (Isonitriou) into new BN-cycles.

B(C6F5)3-mediated direct intramolecular C7-alkenylation of N-propargylindoles.
Jie Cui,Tongdao Wang +1 more
TL;DR: B(C6F5)3-mediated direct C7-alkenylation of N-propargylindoles without directing groups was developed and products could further convert into the fused indoles by deprotonation and finally polyaromatic N-heterocycles by the hydride abstraction.
