Possible antimagnetic rotation originating from two neutron blades in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Nd</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>138</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math> and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Sm</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>138</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math>

Systematic theoretical study on possible antimagnetic rotation in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Pd</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mrow><mml:mn>103</mml:mn><mml:mo>,</mml:mo><mml:mn>105</mml:mn><mml:mo>,</mml:mo><mml:mn>107</mml:mn><mml:mo>,</mml:mo><mml:mn>109</mml:mn></mml:mrow></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math>

The cranked shell model with pairing correlations taken into account by a particle-number-conserving treatment is applied to investigate the two positive-parity yrast bands in $^{60,62}\mathrm{Fe}$. The experimental angular momentum alignments and kinematic moments of inertia are reproduced quite well and the contributions of protons and neutrons to both of them are analyzed in detail. The occupation probability of each cranked Nilsson level of neutrons near the Fermi surface is calculated, which reveals the influence of the intruder orbital $\ensuremath{\nu}{g}_{9/2}$ on the backbending. The calculated $B(E2$) and ${J}^{(2)}/B(E2$) ratios after backbending display the decreasing and increasing tendencies with the increasing of rotational frequency, respectively. The two-shears-like mechanism is exhibited by the closing of a pair of valence proton hole angular momentum vectors toward the resultant angular momentum vector of valence neutrons. Therefore, the parts after backbending of the two yrast bands are suggested as new possible candidates for an antimagnetic rotational band in the $A\ensuremath{\approx}60$ mass region.

Coexistence of possible magnetic and chiral rotation in <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>Cs</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>129</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math> and <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"><mml:mmultiscripts><mml:mi>La</mml:mi><mml:mprescripts/><mml:none/><mml:mn>131</mml:mn></mml:mmultiscripts></mml:math>: A microscopic investigation


 The magnetic and antimagnetic rotational bands are systematically investigated in the present work. Up to now, 253 magnetic rotational bands and 40 antimagnetic rotational bands have been reported in 123 nuclei and 29 nuclei, respectively. The experimental data for these bands are collected and collated, including the level energy, γ-ray energies, spin I, magnetic dipole reduced transition probability B(M1), electric quadrupole reduced transition probability B(E2), B(M1)/B(E2), and J (2)/B(E2), etc. In addition, following the presentation of the kinematic moment of inertia J (1), dynamic moment of inertia J (2), and I versus rotational frequency ω, as well as energy staggering parameter S(I), B(M1), B(E2), B(M1)/B(E2), and J (2)/B(E2) versus I in A ∼ 60, 80, 110, 140, and 190 mass regions, a discussion is provided in detail. Based on the systematic studies, the main features of magnetic and antimagnetic rotational bands are summarized. Furthermore, some nuclei are also predicted to be candidates for magnetic or antimagnetic rotation.

The experimental results of 252 magnetic rotational bands reported in 123 nuclei and 38 antimagnetic rotational bands reported in 27 nuclei are collected and listed in the present work, including energy, spin, parity, magnetic dipole reduced transition probability B(M1), electric quadrupole reduced transition probability B(E2), B(M1)/B(E2) ratio, and the ratio of the dynamic moment of inertia to the electric quadrupole reduced transition probability J(2)/B(E2). Following the presentation of the kinematic moment of inertia J(1), dynamic moment of inertia J(2), and I versus rotational frequency, as well as energy staggering parameter S(I), B(M1), B(E2), B(M1)/B(E2), and J(2)/B(E2) versus I in A 60, 80, 110, 140, and 190 mass regions, a brief discussion is provided. Based on the systematic studies, some nuclei are predicted to be candidates for magnetic or antimagnetic rotation.
