Effect of different vegetation restoration types on fundamental parameters, structural characteristics and the soil quality index of artificial soil
Ruirui Li,Shasha Kan,Mengke Zhu,Jiao Chen,Xiaoyan Ai,Zhaoqiong Chen,Jianjing Zhang,Yingwei Ai +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the effect of different vegetation restoration types on the artificial soil of cut slopes restored with OSSS, various soil samples were obtained from four treatments [herbaceous-only vegetation restoration slopes (HS); mixed vegetation restoration type slope I, composed of herbs and shrubs (MSI); and natural slopes (NS)]. Three slopes were selected for HS, MSI, MSII and NS, respectively, for a total of twelve slopes.

The texture, structure and nutrient availability of artificial soil on cut slopes restored with OSSS - Influence of restoration time
TL;DR: Overall, the OSSS technique shows a long-term effectiveness in southwest of China, but there is still room for improvement in soil texture, structure, and the availability of nutrients and moisture over a restoration period of up to 17 years.

Artificial soil nutrient, aggregate stability and soil quality index of restored cut slopes along altitude gradient in southwest China
TL;DR: The obtained results showed that the artificial soil quality of the cut slopes was better at a higher altitude compared to a lower altitude, and the soil aggregate stability index indicated that the higher the altitude, the stability of soil aggregates was better.

Effects of reactor pressure on GaN nucleation layers and subsequent GaN epilayers grown on sapphire substrate
Jiao Chen,S. M. Zhang,Bingxing Zhang,Junbo Zhu,Gan Feng,Xu Shen,Y T Wang,H. W. Yang,W.C. Zheng +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of reactor pressure on GaN nucleation layer (NL) and the quality of subsequent GaN on sapphire is studied. And the optical and crystalline qualities of GaN epilayer were improved when NLs were deposited at high pressure.

Impact of Soil Composition and Electrochemistry on Corrosion of Rock-cut Slope Nets along Railway Lines in China
Jiao Chen,Zhaoqiong Chen,Zhaoqiong Chen,Yingwei Ai,Jingyao Xiao,Dan-Dan Pan,Wei Li,Zhiyu Huang,Yumei Wang +8 more
TL;DR: Comprehensive evaluation on the corrosive degree of soil samples indicates that the corrosion of upper slope is moderate, and the corroding of mid-slope and lower slope is strong, while organic matter in soil is remarkably relevant to electric potential gradient.
