High-rise building wall surface cleaning robot moving mechanism
Ludan Wang,Sheng Cheng,Jianwei Zhang,Xiuyun Ma,Chong Yao,Zhao Guangzhi +5 more
- 12 Jan 2011
TL;DR: In this article, a high-rise building wall surface cleaning robot moving mechanism is proposed, which consists of two fixed supports and a flexible cable track, two sets of identical winch systems are symmetrically distributed left and right, a winch motor is mounted on a vertical moving module, and one end of the flexible cable-track is fixed on a drum while the other end is fixed in the horizontal moving module.

Interactive control parameter investigation of modular robotic simulation environment based on Wiimote-HCI's multi sensor fusion
Martin Noeske,Dennis Krupke,Norman Hendrich,Jianwei Zhang,Houxiang Zhang +4 more
- 12 Nov 2012
TL;DR: This paper describes a method to integrate a hardware device into a modular robot control and simulation software and introduces sensor fusion to investigate the current set of control parameters and its benefit for evaluation of locomotion control algorithms.
2
Weakly Supervised Referring Expression Grounding via Target-Guided Knowledge Distillation
Jinpeng Mi,Song Tang,Zhiyuan Ma,Dan Liu,Qingwen Li,Jianwei Zhang +5 more
- 29 May 2023
TL;DR: WREG-KD as discussed by the authors proposes a target-guided knowledge distillation framework that accounts for region-expression pairs reconstruction and matching, and reactivates the target-related prediction information learned by a pre-trained teacher model to guide the training process and boost the performance of student model.

Three-dimenisonal monocular scene reconstruction for service-robots - an application.
Sascha Jockel,Tim Baier-Löwenstein,Jianwei Zhang +2 more
- 01 Jan 2007
TL;DR: In this paper, an image-based 3D reconstruction system for service-robot applications in case of daily table scenarios is presented, where the epipolar geometry and fundamental matrices are computed by preliminary extracted corners of both input images detected by a Harris-cornerdetector.
