Reusability-based Semantics for Grasp Evaluation in Context of Service Robotics
Tim Baier,Jianwei Zhang +1 more
- 17 Dec 2006
TL;DR: A novel criterion for grasp evaluation is presented based on the reusability of a grasped object, which is more convenient for humans to use than the other force-based criteria, because the proposed actions are understandable by everybody and are not as abstract as force- based criteria.

Robot Navigation Based on Human Trajectory Prediction and Multiple Travel Modes
TL;DR: An improved socially conscious model to learn and predict a pedestrian’s future trajectory is developed and it is demonstrated the performance of this approach outperforms state-of-the-art approaches with public datasets, in low-density and simulated medium-density crowded scenarios.

Efficient and Collision-Free Human-Robot Collaboration Based on Intention and Trajectory Prediction
TL;DR: In this paper , an optimization-based trajectory generation algorithm is proposed to ensure the safety of the human while collaborating with the robot in a shared-workspace scenario with human pick-and-place motions.
