Self-powered bionic antenna based on triboelectric nanogenerator for micro-robotic tactile sensing
Dekuan Zhu,Jiangfeng Lu,Mingjie Zheng,Dongkai Wang,Jianyu Wang,Yixin Liu,Xiaohao Wang,Min Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a self-powered bionic antenna (SBA) was developed to emulate the structure and function of insect antenna for robotic tactile sensing, which enables the conversion of mechanical stimuli into voltage signal without requiring external power source, and is capable of identifying different contact materials.

Optimization of Composite Cylindrical Shell Subjected to Hydrostatic Pressure
Guang Pan,Jiangfeng Lu,Kechun Shen,Jiujiu Ke +3 more
- 24 Aug 2015
TL;DR: The results show that buckling is the major destroy form of the underwater vehicle, the vehicle's buckling pressure is greatly increased after optimization, and its working depth has a 32% increase without changing its shape and structure.

Power Autonomy and Agility Control of an Untethered Insect-Scale Soft Robot.
TL;DR: In this paper , a power autonomous soft robot with a piezoelectric-thin-film-actuated body and electrostatic turning footpads is demonstrated with a high relative running speed of 2.5 body length per second compared with existing untethered robots.

Complex Three-Dimensional Terrains Traversal of Insect-Scale Soft Robot.
Yingchi Liu,Jiaming Liang,Jiangfeng Lu,Huimin Chen,Zicong Miao,Dongkai Wang,Xiaohao Wang,Min Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a piezoelectric-driven insect-scale soft robot with ring-like curved legs is proposed to traverse complex 3D terrain only by body-terrain mechanical action.
