The complete mitochondrial genome of the American crow, Corvus brachyrhynchos (Passeriformes, Corvidae)
TL;DR: The complete mitochondrial genome of American crows is first published, and this is the first report of bird mitogenomes after 48 avian species genome project achievements released in December 2014, to address taxonomic issues and study the related evolution events.

The complete mitochondrial genome sequence of a cavefish Sinocyclocheilus anshuiensis (Cypriniformes: Cyprinidae).
TL;DR: The complete mitochondrial genome contains 13 protein-coding genes, 22 transfer RNAs, 2 ribosomal RNAs and a 963 bp control region, which provides important resources for the research of cavefish mitochondrial evolution and energy metabolism.

Complete mitochondrial genome of the Saker falcon, Falco cherrug (Falco, Falconidae).
TL;DR: The complete mitochondrial genome of F. cherrug has been determined for the first time and two tandem repeats were identified in the control region, which was almost identical to Falco peregrinus.
