TL;DR: The research investigates the carbon emissions of Henan Province, China, from 2000 to 2020, exploring the relationship with economic development and forecasting future emissions using the PSO-BP optimization algorithm. The results show increasing carbon emissions and decreasing carbon emission intensity, and the combined use of PSO and BP can improve prediction accuracy.
