CircRPN2 inhibits aerobic glycolysis and metastasis in hepatocellular carcinoma.
Jia Li,Zhiqiang Yu,Song-Yang Yu,Li Mao,Zheng-Jun Zhou,Pengcheng Wang,Yu Gong,Sheng Su,Jian Zhou,Jia Fan,Shao-Lai Zhou,Xiao-Wu Huang +11 more
TL;DR: Mechanistic studies in vitro and in vivo revealed that circRPN2 binds to enolase 1 (ENO1) and accelerates its degradation to promote glycolytic reprogramming through the AKT/mTOR pathway, thereby inhibiting HCC metastasis.

Porous core-shell carbon fibers derived from lignin and cellulose nanofibrils
TL;DR: In this paper, a method to produce lignin and cellulose nanofibrils (CNFs) based porous core-shell carbon fibers via co-electrospinning followed by controlled carbonization was reported.

Sleep Duration and Risks of Incident Cardiovascular Disease and Mortality Among People With Type 2 Diabetes.
Han Han,Ying Wang,Tongtong Li,Chengwu Feng,C. Kaliszewski,Yang Su,Yinfan Wu,Jian Zhou,Liang Wang,Geng Zong +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the association of sleep duration with CVD incidence and mortality in a high-risk population was examined, and the multivariable-adjusted hazard ratios of ≤5 and ≥10 h/day were 1.26 (95% CI 1.08, 1.48) and 1.41 (1.30, 2.64) for CVD mortality, respectively.

DAB2IP regulates cancer stem cell phenotypes through modulating stem cell factor receptor and ZEB1
Eun-Jin Yun,Seung Tae Baek,Daxing Xie,S. F. Tseng,Timothy Dobin,Elizabeth Hernandez,Jian Zhou,Lu Zhang,Jichen Yang,H. Sun,Guanghua Xiao,Dalin He,Ralf Kittler,Jer Tsong Hsieh +13 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the loss of DAB2IP, a novel Ras-GTPase activating protein frequently found in many cancer types, is associated with CSC properties and has a critical role in modulating C SC properties via CD117-mediated ZEB1 signaling pathway.
