Short-delay blasting with single free surface: Results of experimental tests
TL;DR: In this article, a new blasting pattern using short-delay intervals is proposed in order to improve rock breaking and control blast-induced vibrations in cutting blasting with single free surface in underground mines.

Single-stage denitrifying phosphorus removal biofilter utilizing intracellular carbon source for advanced nutrient removal and phosphorus recovery
TL;DR: A single-stage biofilter based on denitrifying phosphorus removal was proposed for advanced nutrient removal and phosphorus recovery, which was operated under alternating anoxic/anaerobic mode with no extracellular carbon source in anoxic period and achieved efficient and stable performance.

Genome-wide landscape of RNA-binding protein target site dysregulation reveals a major impact on psychiatric disorder risk
Christopher Y. Park,Jian Zhou,Aaron K. Wong,Kathleen M. Chen,Chandra L. Theesfeld,Robert B. Darnell,Olga G. Troyanskaya +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a deep learning approach was used to predict the RBP target site dysregulation effects of mutations and discover that RBP dysregulation is a principal contributor to psychiatric disorder risk.

Efficacy of different treatment strategies for hepatocellular carcinoma with portal vein tumor thrombosis.
TL;DR: Surgical resection of HCC and PVTT combined with postoperative chemotherapy or chemoembolization is the most effective therapeutic strategy for the patients who can tolerate operation and multiple chemotherapeutic courses should be given postoperatively to patients with good hepatic function reserve.

Influence of lattice distortion on stacking fault energies of CoCrFeNi and Al-CoCrFeNi high entropy alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the stacking fault energy (SFE) plays an important role in the deformation mode selection and consequently the mechanical properties of high entropy alloys, and the influence of the local lattice distortion (LLD) on the SFE is explored.
