Jianguang Li,Jian Ding,Yingxue Yao,Honggen Fang +3 more
- 03 Feb 2015
TL;DR: The accuracy design is an effective approach in accuracy improvement for 6-dof docking mechanism, which involves accuracy analysis and synthesis, and the number-theoretic method (NTM)-based simulation with Sobol point set is investigated to improve the efficiency for accuracy analysis.

Discharge current shape control method and experiment in wire EDM
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of discharge current shape on surface roughness and processing speed in wire EDM process was investigated using a pulse power generator of adjustable current shape, based on half-bridge topology of pulse power generators, the various current shapes were generated by the control method of single-arm intermittent turn-on power tubes.

Quadtree-array-based workpiece geometric representation on three-axis milling process simulation
TL;DR: The evaluated results show that quadtree-array-based hybrid representation method of workpiece can improve the simulation efficiency significantly, and reasonable division number of array cells is also recommended.

Predicting synchronous accuracy of the wire sheave drives
TL;DR: In this paper, a prediction model for the synchronous accuracy of wire sheave drives is proposed to analyze the effect of dominating parameters and to test whether the preset parameters imposed on rope is appropriate or not.

A forward kinematics based statistical method for the pose errors of a 6-dof parallel manipulator
Jian Ding,Jianguang Li,Yingxue Yao,Chuntian Xu,Huaijing Jing +4 more
- 24 Oct 2013
TL;DR: A new statistical model based on forward kinematics is presented which identifies the pose of the manipulator for sample set of link lengths and corresponding pose error can be obtained subsequently, then the statistical method is used to investigate the characters of pose errors.
