TL;DR: A Z-scheme AgI/BiOBr heterojunction photocatalyst was synthesized via hydrothermal process, exhibiting excellent visible light photocatalytic performance, with a 5.29-fold increase in Rhodamine B degradation rate compared to pure BiOBr.
