This article aims to study the role of digital finance in rural revitalization by utilizing the data for 30 provinces in China Mainland from 2012 to 2019, via the fixed effect model and differential GMM model. The empirical results show that the level of rural revitalization varies among different regions in China. In addition, the development of digital inclusive finance is essential in promoting rural revitalization, which is credible while we conduct several robustness tests such as changing the measurement of digital finance and including the dynamic progress by utilizing the GMM estimation. The impact of digital inclusive finance on rural revitalization is not constant among different regions, the positive impact of digital finance on rural revitalization is stronger in eastern region than that in central and western regions.

The Impact of Digital Inclusive Finance on Rural Revitalization

In China, which in the past was dominated by state-owned and male-led ventures, female entrepreneurs are now increasingly popular. However, the specific pathways to internationalization for female-owned firms in China and their contribution to the country’s economic growth remain unexplored. Based on the principles of the resource-based approach, the article explores the innovative strategies used by Chinese female-owned firms to overcome resource constraints, formal and informal institutional barriers to business internationalization (entering the global markets through indirect exports). The article puts forward and empirically tests 5 sets of hypotheses according to which Chinese female-owned firms are: 1) more efficient in internationalization through indirect export strategies; 2) more inclined to digital innovation; 3) not focused on innovation conversion, but rather on successful adaptation of existing offerings for international markets or efficiency gains; 4) do not prioritize innovation in communication technologies, focusing more on innovation to reach customers, build relationships and enter international markets; 5) use the female business ecosystem to obtain safer pathways to innovation, such as external partnerships or adapting existing technologies, rather than focusing on investing internal R&D with elevated risk. Within each block, 2 additional hypotheses were put forward. They consider the impact of the relevant factor (digital innovation, innovation conversion, communication innovation, internal innovation) on indirect exports and its role in mediating the relationship between female ownership and the success of business internationalization. The study is based on a sample of 2,700 Chinese firms surveyed from November 2011 to March 2013 using the World Bank Enterprise Surveys China 2012 (a comprehensive recoding was performed, adhering to established practices in quantitative research). The control variables are the location of the respondent company in the capital/province, city size and firm size. The study used two types of factor analysis – Exploratory (EFA, including Promax rotation, oblique rotation method) and Confirmatory (CFA, Alpha Cronbach test, full path analysis model, including both direct and indirect effects, Monte Carlo method). SPSS 29 software was used for the data sample and AMOS 26.0 for the modeling process. A direct positive relationship was found between female ownership and indirect exports in China and digital ecosystem innovations, as well as between communication innovations and indirect exports. A significant negative direct relationship was found between female ownership and communication innovations, between digital ecosystem innovations and indirect exports, and between internal innovations on indirect exports. It also reveals the absence of a significant direct impact of innovation conversion on indirect exports. Mediating effects were also confirmed for communication and digital ecosystem innovations; partially for internal innovations; not confirmed for innovation conversion.

Breaking Barriers, Building Businesses, and International Markets: Strategies of Female Innovators in the Chinese Market

ABSTRACT This study was conducted to assess the water quality of the Great Zab River (GZR) under potential pollutant pressure from some industries. The Water Quality Index (WQI) was used to evaluate the results of the water quality monitoring study. WQI and Geographical Information System (GIS)-based python scripts were used to evaluate the results. Results indicate varying water qualities, ranging from moderate to poor, with fluctuations attributed to pollution from industrial plants mixing with river water. The WQI rating of the GZR before industrial discharges was 57.48, and in the lower part, after discharges, the WQI rating was 56.00, indicating marginal water quality. In contrast, the areas near the Cola Factory, where the river confluence occurs, have WQI values of 43.32 and 44.97, representing unacceptable, poor water quality. The study highlights that the refinery, cola factory, and power plant locations significantly impact the river's water quality. These findings underscore the urgent need to adopt ecological practices, establish environmental regulations, and implement sustainable technologies to preserve the river's natural state. Concise measures aimed at eliminating pollutant sources and enhancing environmental awareness within communities are essential for the conservation of the GZR and the protection of its surrounding ecosystems. 

Assessment of water quality in the Great Zab River (Erbil city, Iraq) exposed to wastewater from different industries using the WQI and GIS-based Python script approaches

Innovation is emerging as a critical success factor due to its ability to contribute to the growth, efficiency of production, and competitiveness of enterprises. This study aims to analyse the impact of innovative approaches on entrepreneurship and new ventures. The methodology used in this study is comprehensive and mainly employs systemic and structural-functional methods, as well as analysis and synthesis. This approach helps to illustrate the intricate network of connections between various factors that impact the effectiveness of innovative approaches for entrepreneurship development. The study proves that innovative approaches have a significant impact on productivity and entrepreneurship development, particularly for new enterprises, which benefit from the ability to quickly enter the market. These approaches facilitate the introduction of the latest technologies, process optimization, and digital solutions. The findings indicate that innovation enhances the competitiveness of new businesses and attracts investment. Risk management and adaptability are crucial for new businesses in a dynamic business environment. The ability to respond quickly to changes in technology, market conditions, and consumer preferences is vital for the development of entrepreneurship and new businesses. New businesses that effectively mitigate risks and respond dynamically to change have a better chance of maintaining their competitive advantage and sustainability. This task necessitates adaptable planning, vigilant monitoring of the external environment, and the capacity to modify strategies in response to changes. 

Assessing the impact of innovative strategies on entrepreneurial growth and business development

This study investigates the complex mechanisms that impact the achievement of social entrepreneurship endeavors, concentrating on the case of CV. Pangalusna Sukabumi. The study investigates the relationships between environmental sustainability factors, funding models, risk management, and social entrepreneurship success via quantitative analysis involving 213 participants. The findings demonstrate statistically significant positive correlations, suggesting that social entrepreneurship endeavors of organizations dedicated to environmental sustainability, employing a variety of funding models, and executing efficient risk management strategies are more likely to be prosperous. This study makes a valuable contribution to the current body of literature by providing empirically validated insights. It also offers practical guidance for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers who are interested in improving the sustainability and effectiveness of social entrepreneurship initiatives.

The Effect of Environmental Sustainability Factors, Funding Models, and Risk Management on Social Entrepreneurship Success: A Case Study on CV. Pangalusna Sukabumi


Purpose
This study aims to solve the realistic dilemma between the importance of entrepreneurship and the high rate of entrepreneurial failure, and to point out the direction of subsequent research.


Design/methodology/approach
The paper takes the form of a literature review.


Findings
Entrepreneurial activities involve multiple dimensions. Entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial teams will be affected by multiple factors when starting a business, and sufficient attention should be paid to both the factors within the group and the factors outside the group such as institutional quality and market competition. High entrepreneurial failure rate is an essential characteristic of entrepreneurial activities, while solving this problem requires entrepreneurs to maintain passion, clarify their own motivation, improve their learning abilities and adopt appropriate entrepreneurial strategies to improve entrepreneurial performance. Meanwhile, it also urgent to build entrepreneurial teams with common goals, heterogeneous knowledge structure, outstanding learning ability, solid mutual trust, strong social influence and social capital. Successful entrepreneurship should adhere to the perspective of openness and cooperation. It should not only actively strengthen international cooperation but also fully adapt to the country’s system and culture. Sustainable growth of entrepreneurial enterprises requires not only stable commercial revenue but also responsibility to society, which in turn leads to a good reputation and high social recognition.


Practical implications
The authors hope this review can provide some insightful viewpoints for deepening the theoretical system of entrepreneurship, improving the success rate of entrepreneurship and promoting the sustainable growth of enterprises.


Originality/value
Further research can be carried out on the promotion of business growth by entrepreneurship at the micro level in the following aspects: analyze functional mechanism between innovation and entrepreneurship; entrepreneurship research by integrating multiple institutional contexts and cultural traditions; consider the changes in emerging technologies on entrepreneurial activities; diversified mechanism between entrepreneurship education and business growth.

Therefore, understanding the basic information and financial situation of Coca-Cola Company is a required item for many companies and individuals. Through SWOT analysis and calculation of some financial ratios (comparing Coca-Cola and Pepsi), this paper conducts a analysis and provides suggestions on the strengths, weaknesses, external opportunities, external threats and financial conditions of Coca-Cola. According to the analysis, Coca-Cola should do more research and development to make its products more novel, and it should reduce the production cost appropriately and strive for greater profit space. Secondly, Coca-Cola needs to sell a large number of inventory goods as soon as possible, replan the inventory number of products, and strengthen the operation of funds. The final recommendation is that Coca-Cola is a good company for people to invest in.
