Multicenter study of combination DEP regimen as a salvage therapy for adult refractory hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.
Yini Wang,Wenqiu Huang,Liangding Hu,Xinan Cen,Lihong Li,Ji-Jun Wang,Jian-Liang Shen,Na Wei,Zhao Wang +8 more
TL;DR: This study suggests that DEP regimen is an effective salvage regimen for adult refractory HLH, which can prolong patient survival as the authors continue to understand the responsible mechanisms and bridge the gap between HLH and its underlying diseases.

Genetic Features of Late Onset Primary Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis in Adolescence or Adulthood
Yini Wang,Zhao Wang,Jia Zhang,Qing Wei,Ran Tang,Junyuan Qi,Lihong Li,Liping Ye,Ji-Jun Wang,Ling Ye +9 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that late-onset primary HLH is not as rare as previously thought and older patients should not be delayed to receive HLH-related genes testing when they are suspected with HLH.

High Expression Levels of ACTN1 and ACTN3 Indicate Unfavorable Prognosis in Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Xinrui Yang,Yifan Pang,Jilei Zhang,Jinlong Shi,Xinpei Zhang,Gaoqi Zhang,Siyuan Yang,Jing Wang,Kai Hu,Ji-Jun Wang,Hongmei Jing,Xiaoyan Ke,Lin Fu +12 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that high expression levels of ACTN1 and ACTN3 adversely affected the survival of AML patients, but their harmful impact could be overcome by allo-HSCT.

Mitogen-activated protein kinase binding protein 1 ( MAPKBP1 ) is an unfavorable prognostic biomarker in cytogenetically normal acute myeloid leukemia
TL;DR: MAPKBP1high is a novel, unfavourably prognostic biomarker for CN-AML risk-stratification, and may underlie the pathological processes in this malignancy.
Clinical characteristics and prognostic analysis of Chinese patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
Xiaoyan Ke,Jing Wang,Zifen Gao,Ling-Zhi Zhao,Min Li,Hongmei Jing,Ji-Jun Wang,Wei Zhao,Heather Gilbert,Xiaofeng Yang +9 more
TL;DR: Examination of biological markers in 83 patients with DLBCL, including cell origin, serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels, and international prognostic index (IPI), finds that among nine prognostic variables, lower IPI scores, GC cell origin determined by immunohistochemical staining, and no more than 1.5 times of normal levels of LDH are statistically significant good prognostic factors in Chinese patients withDLBCL.
