Neurologic outcome and vehicle and crash factors in motor vehicle related spinal cord injuries
TL;DR: Spinal cord injuries occurring from crashes when the vehicle overturned were more prevalent than expected and a greater proportion of complete spinal cord injuries was found in persons involved in head-on collisions or in those ejected from the vehicle in the crash sequence.

TL;DR: Designating patients as TR prehospital with expedited evaluation by an ED physician and early TS consultation resulted in reduced use of resources and lower hospital charges without increase in LOS, time to disposition or in-hospital mortality.

Work-related fatal injuries in older California workers, 1979-1985
TL;DR: In this paper, a new system was proposed to identify, more accurately, work-related fatal injuries with particular reference to those past normal retirement age. The system relies on the death certificate and involves a computer search of data fields possibly indicative of a work association.
