Structure primaire du caseinomacropeptide des caseines κ porcine et humaine
TL;DR: The amino acid sequence of porcine and human caseinomacropeptides (CMP), the C‐terminal glycopeptide released from κ‐casein by chymosin at the initial step of milk coagulation, have been investigated.

β-lactoglobulin as a vector for β-carotene food fortification.
Azza Mensi,Patrick Borel,Patrick Borel,Patrick Borel,Aurélie Goncalves,Aurélie Goncalves,Aurélie Goncalves,Marion Nowicki,Marion Nowicki,Marion Nowicki,Béatrice Gleize,Béatrice Gleize,Béatrice Gleize,Stéphanie Roi,Stéphanie Roi,Stéphanie Roi,Jean-Marc Chobert,Thomas Haertlé,Emmanuelle Reboul,Emmanuelle Reboul,Emmanuelle Reboul +20 more
TL;DR: It is shown that β-Lg would be a good vector for β-carotene food fortification, and an inhibitor of the Scavenger Receptor Class B Type I significantly decreased the uptake of micellar β- carotene but not that of β-Carotene bound to β- Lg.

How to increase β-lactoglobulin susceptibility to peptic hydrolysis
TL;DR: In this article, the authors showed that β-lactoglobulin is resistant to peptic hydrolysis in physiological conditions, the increase of its digestibility by this enzyme was sought by the destabilization of its folding using methods that do not influence the biological value of protein, such as high pressure, medium polarity changes (alcohol addition), and esterification (ethylation).

Study of the Potential Application of Lactic Acid Bacteria in the Control of Infection Caused by Agrobacterium tumefaciens
Nataliia Limanska,N. Korotaeva,Biscola,Tetiana Ivanytsia,Andrii Merlich,Franco Bdgm,Jean-Marc Chobert,Ivanytsia,Thomas Haertlé +8 more
TL;DR: Evaluation of number of surviving cuttings and amount of buds that grew indicated that co-inoculation with agrobacteria and LAB removed completely the negative influence of phytopathogen on grapevines and reduced the number of infected Cuttings by approximately 80%.
