TL;DR: Investigation of plasma tau protein, neurofilament light chain (NfL), glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and ubiquitin carboxy‐terminal hydrolase L1 (UCHL1) as predictive biomarkers of alcohol withdrawal‐associated brain toxicity found them to be potential biomarker of brain suffering during alcohol withdrawal.
