Impact of alemtuzumab as conditioning regimen component on transplantation outcomes in case of CMV‐seropositive recipients and donors
Yee Soo Chae,Sang Kyun Sohn,Jong Gwang Kim,Yoon Young Cho,Joon Ho Moon,Deok Hwan Yang,Je-Jung Lee,Yeo-Kyeoung Kim,Hyeoung-Joon Kim,Ho Jin Shin,Joo Seop Chung,Goon Jae Cho +11 more
TL;DR: It was showed that alemtuzumab was effective for GVHD prevention, yet caused a relatively high incidence of CMV antigenemia, regardless of the dose, which would seem to be preferable in an allogeneic SCT setting when both the recipient and the donor are CMV seropositive.
Clinical features and treatment outcomes in patients with mantle cell lymphoma in Korea: Study by the Consortium for Improving Survival of Lymphoma.
Byung Woog Kang,Sang Kyun Sohn,Joon Ho Moon,Yee Soo Chae,Jong Gwang Kim,Soo Jung Lee,Won Seog Kim,Je-Jung Lee,Se Ryeon Lee,Keon Uk Park,Ho Sup Lee,Won Sik Lee,Jong-Ho Won,Moo Rim Park,Jae Yong Kwak,Min Kyoung Kim,Hyo Jung Kim,Sung Yong Oh,Hye Jin Kang,Cheolwon Suh +19 more
TL;DR: It is found that simplified MIPI was an important prognostic factor in Korean patients with MCL and the use of a rituximab-containing regimen was not associated with OS and EFS.
Analysis of the Efficacy of Thalidomide Plus Dexamethasone-Based Regimens in Patients With Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma Who Received Prior Chemotherapy, Including Bortezomib and Lenalidomide: KMM-166 Study.
Ki Sun Jung,Kihyun Kim,Hyo Jung Kim,Sung-Hyun Kim,Jeong Ok Lee,Jin Seok Kim,Je-Jung Lee,Hyeon-Seok Eom,Chang-Ki Min,Ho-Jin Shin +9 more
TL;DR: Thalidomide-based regimens are potential salvage treatment options for patients with RRMM, even those with disease with prior resistance to IMiDs, and patients with disease that responded to the thalidomides had better progression-free survival compared to those who did not.
Natural killer cell therapy potentially enhances the antitumor effects of bevacizumab plus irinotecan in a glioblastoma mouse model
Thi-Anh-Thuy Tran,YoungHee Kim,Thi-Hoang-Oanh Duong,Jaya Lakshimi Thangaraj,Tan-Huy Chu,Shin Jung,Kyung-Sub Moon,Young-Jin Kim,Taekyu Lee,Chul Won Lee,Hyosuk Yun,Je-Jung Lee,Hyun-Ju Lee,Kyung-Hwa Lee,Tae-Young Jung +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of Bev and Iri on the proliferation and NK ligand expression of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) cells were evaluated through MTT assay and flow cytometry.
Lenalidomide Synergistically Enhances the Effect of Dendritic Cell Vaccination in a Model of Murine Multiple Myeloma.
Thanh-Nhan Nguyen-Pham,Sung-Hoon Jung,Manh-Cuong Vo,Huong-Thi Thanh-Tran,Youn-Kyung Lee,Hyun-Ju Lee,Nu-Ri Choi,My-Dung Hoang,Hyeoung-Joon Kim,Je-Jung Lee +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that a combination of LEN and DC vaccination may synergistically enhance anticancer immunity in the murine myeloma model, by inhibiting immunosuppressor cells and stimulating effector cells, as well as effectively polarizing the Th1/Th2 balance in favor of a Th1-specific immune response.
