A new modified wetting test and an alternative disintegration test for orally disintegrating tablets.
TL;DR: A strong correlation was observed between the standardized shake test and the USP disintegration times for the tablets and this shake test could be used during the development stages and quality tests for ODTs with relative ease.

Evaluating superdisintegrants for their performance in orally disintegrating tablets containing lysozyme enzyme
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of the quality of the materials and the applied compression force on enzyme activity and disintegration time and dissolution profile were investigated. But the results also revealed that despite the general advantages and effectiveness of ready-to-use excipients, the use of tailored formulations is more advantageous for sensitive drugs like enzymes.
