Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy and 5-Fluorouracil: Getting to the Heart of the Matter
TL;DR: A case of delayed Takotsubo cardiomyopathy after 3 weeks of adjuvant 5-fluorouracil for resected rectal adenocarcinoma in a 66-year-old female, supported by angiographic, electrocardiography, and echocardiographic features is described.
Getting the MOST out of follow-up: a randomized controlled trial comparing 3 monthly nurse led follow-up via telehealth, including monitoring CA125 and patient reported outcomes using the MOST (Measure of Ovarian Symptoms and Treatment concerns) with routine clinic based or telehealth follow-up, after completion of first line chemotherapy in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer

TL;DR: In this article, nurse-led follow-up via telehealth, including serum CA125 monitoring and completion of a patient reported outcome instrument, the Measure of Ovarian Symptoms and Treatment concerns-Surveillance (MOST-S26), was shown to improve emotional wellbeing in women with ovarian cancer.

TL;DR: Rec retrospective genetic testing to identify PVs in previously untested deceased probands with TOC is demonstrated to be feasible, overcame ethical and logistic challenges, and allows identification of at-risk families for cancer prevention.
