Cognitive and social issues in emergency medicine knowledge translation: a research agenda.
TL;DR: This group combined an online discussion group of interdisciplinary stakeholders, an extensive review of the existing literature, and a "public hearing" of the recommendations at the Consensus Conference to establish relative preference for the recommendations as well as their relevance and clarity to attendees.
Advancing the literature on designing audit and feedback interventions: identifying theory-informed hypotheses.

TL;DR: A much needed framework of context for knowledge translation is identified, which identifies specific elements that, if assessed and used to tailor knowledge translation activities, will result in increased research use by nurses and other healthcare professionals in clinical practice, ultimately leading to better patient care.
Computer-supported feedback message tailoring: theory-informed adaptation of clinical audit and feedback for learning and behavior change
Zach Landis-Lewis,Jamie C. Brehaut,Jamie C. Brehaut,Harry Hochheiser,Gerald P. Douglas,Rebecca S. Jacobson +5 more
TL;DR: A prototype system that supports the provision of tailored feedback messages by generating a menu of graphical and textual messages with associated descriptions of targeted barriers to behavior change is described and it is anticipated that such a system, if designed appropriately, could guide supervisors towards giving more effective feedback for health-care providers.
