Interleukin-10 controls neutrophilic infiltration, hepatocyte proliferation, and liver fibrosis induced by carbon tetrachloride in mice
Hubert Louis,Jean-Luc Van Laethem,Wei Wu,Eric Quertinmont,Chantal Degraef,Kit Van den Berg,Anne Demols,Michel Goldman,Olivier Le Moine,Albert Geerts,Jacques Devière +10 more
TL;DR: In conclusion, endogenous IL‐10 marginally affects the hepatocyte necrosis although it controls the acute inflammatory burst induced by CCl4 during liver repair, it limits the proliferative response of hepatocytes and the development of fibrosis.

Systemic release of interleukin-10 during orthotopic liver transplantation
Olivier Le Moine,Arnaud Marchhant,François Durand,Brigitte Ickx,Olrvier Pradier,Jacques Belghiti,Daniel Abramowicz,Michel Gelin,Michel Goldman,Jacques Devière +9 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that orthotopic liver transplantation is associated with a massive release of interleukin‐10 and interleUKin‐8, most likely produced by allograft macrophages.

Repeated concanavalin a challenge in mice induces an interleukin 10–producing phenotype and liver fibrosis
Hubert Louis,Alain Le Moine,Eric Quertinmont,M O Peny,Albert Geerts,Michel Goldman,Olivier Le Moine,Jacques Devière +7 more
TL;DR: The present study shows that mice repeatedly injected with Con A develop liver fibrosis, and the cytokine‐release pattern observed after 1 injection of Con A is rapidly shifted towards an immunomodulatory phenotype characterized by the systemic production of large amounts of IL‐10.
