Design of Phase Feed Forward System in CTF3 and Performance of Fast Beam Phase Monitors
Piotr Skowroński,A. Andersson,Glenn Christian,Colin Perry,A. Ghigo,P. N. Burrows,Jack Roberts,E. Ikarios,Alexander Gerbershagen,Fabio Marcellini +9 more
- 12 May 2013
TL;DR: The CLIC two beam acceleration technology requires a drive beam phase stability better than 0.3 deg rms at 12 GHz, corresponding to a timing stability below 50 fs rms, and a phase stabilization feed-forward system is included.

Stabilization of the arrival time of a relativistic electron beam to the 50 fs level
Jack Roberts,Jack Roberts,Piotr Skowroński,Philip Burrows,Glenn Christian,Roberto Corsini,Andrea Ghigo,Fabio Marcellini,Colin Perry +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors report the results of a low-latency beam phase feed forward system built to stabilize the arrival time of a relativistic electron beam at the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC) Test Facility (CTF3) at CERN where the beam arrival time was stabilized to approximately 50 fs.

Development of a Beam-based Phase Feedforward Demonstration at the CLIC Test Facility (CTF3)
Jack Roberts
- 12 May 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, a phase feedforward (PFF) system was used to correct the phase by deflecting the beam on to longer or shorter trajectories at CTF3 at the Compact Linear Collider (CLIC).

Design, Hardware Tests and First Results From the CLIC Drive Beam Phase Feed-Forward Prototype at CTF3
Jack Roberts,A. Andersson,Colin Perry,A. Ghigo,Fabio Marcellini +4 more
- 01 Jan 2014
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present results from preparations for the phase feedforward system relating to optics improvements, the development of a slow phase feedback that will be run in parallel with the feed forward system and first tests of the kicker amplifier and kickers.
