Patent
Composite elastomeric material and process for making the same
Michael John Vander Wielen,Jack Draper Taylor +1 more
- 21 Jul 1986
TL;DR: In this paper, a method of producing a composite elastic material comprises stretching an elastic web to elongate it, for example, elongating a nonwoven web of meltblown elastomeric fibers, and bonding the elongated web to at least one gatherable web, such as a spunbonded polyester fiber material, under conditions which soften at least a portion of the elastic net to form the bonded composite web of elastic material.

Spunlaced polyester-meltblown polyetherester laminate
Jack Draper Taylor
- 15 Oct 1986
TL;DR: In this paper, a laminate is defined as an elastic sheet having at least one non-elastic non-woven web joined at least at two areas, and the non-linear web is gathered between the two areas.

High performance elastomeric nonwoven fibrous webs
Jack Draper Taylor,Jon Edward Tinsley +1 more
- 17 May 1994
TL;DR: In this paper, the elastic nonwoven web is defined as a coherent matrix of fibers formed from an extrudable blend composed of an elastomeric A-B-A-B tetrablock copolymer where A is a thermoplastic polymer block and B is an isoprene monomer unit hydrogenated to poly(ethylene-propylene) monomer units.

Composite elastic necked-bonded material
William Bela Haffner,Michael Tod Morman,Jack Draper Taylor,Jon Edward Tinsley +3 more
- 19 Jul 1995
TL;DR: In this paper, a composite elastic necked-bonded material including at least one necked material was presented, which is stretchable in a direction generally parallel to the direction of constriction or necking.

Patent
Elastic spunlaced polyester-meltblown polyetherurethane laminate
Jack Draper Taylor,L. Warren Collier +1 more
- 15 Oct 1986
TL;DR: In this paper, a laminate is defined as an elastic sheet having at least one non-elastic nonwoven web joined at least at two areas, and the non-woven yarn is gathered between the two areas.
