Association between interpersonal trust, reciprocity, and suicidal behaviors: A longitudinal cohort study in South Korea
TL;DR: The authors examined the prospective association between interpersonal trust and reciprocity and suicidal behaviors using the Korea Welfare Panel Study, a nationally representative longitudinal cohort dataset in South Korea, and found that the low interpersonal trust group was more likely to experience suicidal ideation compared to the high interpersonal trust groups whereas no statistically significant association was observed in the reciprocity analysis.

Association between workplace discrimination and depressive symptoms among firefighters in South Korea.
TL;DR: Firefighters who experienced workplace discrimination had a higher likelihood of depressive symptoms than those who did not after adjusting for potential confounders, suggesting that experience of workplace discrimination could aggravate the mental health of firefighters who provide an important public service.

Role of SES on the association between childhood parental death and adulthood suicidal ideation: a mediation analysis using longitudinal dataset in South Korea
TL;DR: In this paper, the mediating role of adulthood educational attainment and household income in the association between childhood experience of parental death (CEPD) and adulthood suicidal ideation was examined, and mediating roles of adulthood SES were included in the analysis.
