Flexible all-optical wavelength conversions of 1.57-ps pulses exploiting cascaded sum- and difference frequency generation (cSFG/DFG) in a PPLN waveguide
TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible all-optical wavelength conversion of ps-pulses based on cascaded sum-and difference frequency generation (cSFG/DFG) was proposed and experimentally demonstrated using a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide.

Single-to-dual channel wavelength conversion of picosecond pulses using PPLN-based double-ring fibre laser
TL;DR: In this article, a single-to-dual channel wavelength conversion of picosecond pulses based on cascaded second-order nonlinear interaction by use of a double-ring fiber laser incorporating a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide was proposed.

PPLN-based all-optical 40 Gbit/s three-input logic AND gate for both NRZ and RZ signals
TL;DR: In this paper, an all-optical high-speed three-input logic AND gate using cascaded sum-and difference-frequency generation (cSFG/DFG) in a periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) waveguide is reported.

Channel-switchable single-/dual-wavelength single-longitudinal-mode laser and THz beat frequency generation up to 3.6 THz
TL;DR: In this article, a channel-switchable dual-wavelength single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) laser and switchable beat frequency generation in the THz frequency regime were demonstrated.

Flexible Tuning Optical Frequency Combs via Parametric Seeding in Microresonators With Normal Dispersion
TL;DR: In this paper, a parametric seeding method was proposed to tune the optical frequency combs generated in normal-dispersion microresonators based on parametric SE, and the pulse duration could be adjusted in the range of 0.7-3.076 ps by changing the seeding power from 1 to 5 mW.
