TL;DR: The EoE Endoscopic Reference Score (Eas mentioned in this paperS) as mentioned in this paper has been used as an endpoint in randomized controlled trials (RCTs) to evaluate the operating properties of endoscopic instruments for use in Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) RCTs.
Standardizing Scoring Conventions for Crohn's Disease Endoscopy: An International RAND/UCLA Appropriateness Study.
Reena Khanna,Christopher Ma,M. Hogan,Guangyong Zou,Talat Bessissow,Brian Bressler,Jean-Frederic Colombel,Silvio Danese,Marco Daperno,James E. Fast,Lawrence Hookey,Edward V. Loftus,John W. Feagan,Vipul Jairath +23 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a two-round modified Research and Development/University of California Los Angeles appropriateness methodology study was conducted, where a panel of 15 gastroenterologists used a 9-point Likert scale to rate the appropriatability of statements pertaining to the Simple Endoscopic Score for Crohn's Disease (SES-CD), Crohn’s Disease Endoscopic Index of Severity (CDEIS), and additional items relevant to endoscopy scoring in CD.

Reliability and Responsiveness of Histologic Indices for the Assessment of Crohn's Disease Activity.
Virginia Solitano,David F. Schaeffer,M. Hogan,Niels Vande Casteele,Rish Pai,Guangyong Zou,Reetesh K. Pai,Claire E Parker,J. Rémillard,Britt Christensen,S. Danese,Laurent Peyrin-Biroulet,Remo Panaccione,B. E. Sands,Geert G. D'Haens,Brian G. Feagan,Christopher Ma,Vipul Jairath +17 more
TL;DR: CD and UC indices were similarly reliable and responsive in measuring histologic CD activity and exploratory colonic, ileal, and colonic-ileal indices did not offer benefit over current histologic instruments.
