Particle-rotor model description of the negative-parity states in the transitional 151Sm nucleus
TL;DR: In this paper, the recoil term in the particle-rotor Hamiltonian is interpreted as a many-body term and the potential parameters k and μ of the Nilsson potential are determined from the experimental single-particle energies in the spherical limit.

The 153Sm nucleus: An experimental and theoretical study
J. Rekstad,M. Guttormsen,T. Engeland,G. Løvhøiden,O. Straume,Jørgen André Lien,C.E. Ellegaard +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the level structure of 153Sm has been studied by means of the 150Nd(α, n)153Sm reaction, which included measurements of the γ-γ coincidences and γray yield as a function of projectile energy.

Studies of single-neutron holes in the transitional nuclei N = 83–89: The 142Ce(d, t)141Ce and 142Ce(3He, α)141Ce pick-up reactions

TL;DR: In this paper, the level structure of 141 Ce up to 3.7 MeV excitation energy has been investigated by the (d, t) and (3 He, α) reactions using 17 MeV deuteron and 24 MeV 3 He beams respectively.

On the ΔN = 2 coupling problem
TL;DR: In this paper, the ΔN = 2 coupling was discussed within the full particle-rotor Hamiltonian, and it was shown that pairing effects played significant roles for the result of the Δn = 2 correlation.
