TL;DR: The MAGISOL Si-Plugin Chamber was installed at the ISOLDE Decay Station to study the exotic decay modes of the proton drip-line nucleus Ar-31 as discussed by the authors.
Three-body effects in the Hoyle-state decay
TL;DR: In this paper, the Coulomb interaction in the three-body final state and its effects on the decay spectrum were investigated using a sequential R-matrix model to describe the breakup of the Hoyle state into three α particles via the ground state of Be 8, and features resembling a direct breakup branch appeared in the phase-space distribution of the α particles.

Measurement of the branching ratio for β-delayed α decay of 16N
J. Refsgaard,Oliver S. Kirsebom,Elwin Dijck,H. O. U. Fynbo,M. V. Lund,M N Portela,Riccardo Raabe,G. Randisi,Francesca Renzi,S. Sambi,A. Sytema,Lorenz Willmann,Hans Wilschut +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the β-delayed α spectrum of 16 N ions is used to constrain the extrapolation of the E1 component of the S-factor; however, with this approach, the resulting Sfactor becomes strongly correlated with the assumed βα branching ratio.

Rotational excitation of the Hoyle state in 12C

TL;DR: In this paper, the state of interest is populated by beta decay of radioactive 12N ion beam delivered by the IGISOL facility at JYFL, Jyvaskyla.
The GET electronics for scintillation detectors readout
TL;DR: In this paper , the influence of configurable parameters of the GET electronics on the recorded pulse-height γ-ray energy spectra was discussed. But the authors focused on the AsAd front-end, which was used to read out the auxiliary scintillation detectors of the SpecMAT active target.
