The phonon wings in the (S1 ← S0) spectra of tetracene, pentacene, porphin and phthalocyanine in liquid helium droplets
TL;DR: In this paper, the vibronic spectra of the large organic molecules tetracene (C18H12), pentacene(C24H14), base-free porphin (C20H14N4), and base- free phthalocyanine (C32H18N8) were investigated in large (N≈ 103-104)======4He droplets using laser induced fluorescence.
The photoionization of large pure and doped helium droplets
TL;DR: In this paper, the photoionization of neutral liquid helium droplets was studied using synchrotron radiation at photon energies ranging from 15 to 30 eV, and the mass spectra as well as total and mass selective ion yields were measured as a function of the photon energy for different droplet sizes.
Experimental and theoretical investigation of the microscopic vibrational and diffusional dynamics of sodium atoms on a Cu(001) surface
TL;DR: In this paper, a Langevin dynamics simulation for the adatoms is presented to determine the position and width of the lateral frustrated translational mode using the same potential energy surface and frictional coupling.
Absorption spectroscopy and photodissociation dynamics of small helium cluster ions
TL;DR: In this paper, the optical absorption of size-selected helium cluster ions was studied via photofragmentation spectroscopy, and the total binding energy of the He+3 trimer ion was determined to be 2.6±0.15 eV.
