Experimental study of density gradient driven micro-instabilities and the confinement degradation during H-mode in EAST
Fei Chen,Yadong Li,Xiaojie Wang,Guo-Ching Wu,Pan Li,J. Geng,Yuhao Wang,Bo Lyu,C. Bae,Haiqing Liu,Shouxin Wang,Hai-Sheng Zhao,Tianfu Zhou,Erzhong Li,P.J. Sun,Qiong Zhang,Jiangang Li,Yifei Jin +17 more
TL;DR: In this article , the frequency of BB is found to be dependent on the electron temperature and density gradient, which is a typical feature of electron-driven turbulence, and a negative correlation between energy confinement and the intensity of the BB turbulence during H-mode has been found, which indicates a strong electron thermal transport induced by theBB turbulence.
A Poloidal CO2 Laser Collective Scattering System for Measuring Electron-Scale Turbulence in the EAST
TL;DR: In this article , the poloidal CO2 laser collective scattering diagnostic system installed on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) for electron-scale turbulence measurement was introduced.

TL;DR: Investigation of Lower Hybrid Current Drive (LHCD) capabilities in I-mode plasma on EAST tokamak reveals enhanced LHCD efficiency and broader current profile, attributed to altered wave power deposition and edge conditions, with implications for steady-state operation.
