Conceptual design of the fusion-driven subcritical system FDS-I
Yican Wu,S. Zheng,Xing Zhu,Wanjing Wang,H.Y. Wang,Shuai Liu,Yu Bai,Hui Chen,Liqun Hu,Meiwen Chen,Qing Huang,D. Huang,Shifeng Zhang,J.G. Li,D. Chu,Jieqiong Jiang,Yinglin Song +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, a conceptual design of the FDS-I is presented, which consists of the fusion neutron driver with relatively easy-achieved plasma parameters, and the He-gas/liquid lithium-lead Dual-cooled subcritical Waste Transmutation (DWT) blanket used to transmute long-lived radioactive wastes and to generate energy on the basis of self-sustainable fission and fusion fuel cycle.

Liquid lithium surface control and its effect on plasma performance in the HT-7 tokamak
Guizhong Zuo,J. Ren,Jiansheng Hu,Z. Sun,Qingxi Yang,J.G. Li,Leonid E. Zakharov,David N. Ruzic +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of different limiter surface structures on the ejection of Li droplets have been studied and compared and the results provide technical references for the design of FLLLs in future tokamaks so as to avoid strong Li ejection and to decrease disruptive plasmas.

Influence of lithium coatings with large-area coverage on EAST plasma performance
TL;DR: In this paper, the EAST campaigns, lithium coatings by oven evaporation were carried out as a routine wall conditioning method and significant progress has been achieved, achieving an area coverage of ∼35% in 2010 and ∼85% in 2012.

Benchmarking of SNAM with the ITER 3D model
Huaichuan Hu,Yucheng Wu,Meiwen Chen,Qin Zeng,A. Adam Ding,S. Zheng,Yan Li,Li Lu,J.G. Li,Pengcheng Long +9 more
- 01 Oct 2007
TL;DR: The modeling capability of SNAM has been tested by the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) benchmark model and the neutron flux radial distribution of the inboard blanket modules is given and compared with the results calculated by MCNP.

Plasma facing components of EAST
Yuntao Song,X.B. Peng,Hai Xie,Xiang Liu,Lan Bao,Zibo Zhou,Lei Cao,Tiejun Xu,Xiang Ji,Y. Peng,N. Zhu,Peng Zhang,Jinhua Wu,Songke Wang,X.M. Wang,Jiansheng Hu,C.Y. Xie,J.L. Chen,Guang-Nan Luo,D.M. Yao,D.M. Gao,X.Z. Gong,P. Fu,J.G. Li +23 more
TL;DR: In this article, a special deep hole drilling technology was developed to drill cooling channels directly on heat sink for high efficient heat removal, and a dry lubricate material was used between stainless steel support and heat sink, for the purpose of absorption of thermal expansion.
