Epitaxial growth of ferromagnetic ultrathin MnGa films with perpendicular magnetization on GaAs
Masaaki Tanaka,J. P. Harbison,J. DeBoeck,Timothy D. Sands,B. A. Philips,T.L. Cheeks,V. G. Keramidas +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors successfully grown ferromagnetic MnGa ultrathin films on GaAs substrates by molecular beam epitaxy using high energy electron diffraction and cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy.

Magnetotransport properties of MBE-grown magnetic superlattices of Mn-based intermetallics on GaAs heterostructures
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic and magnetotransport properties of two kinds of new epitaxial magnetic superlattices, MnGa/NiGa and MnAl/NiAl, consisting of ferromagnetic tetragonal MnGa (MnAl) and non-magnetic CsCl-type NiGa (NiAl), grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) on (001) GaAs substrates, were studied.

Epitaxial ferromagnetic MnGa/NiGa multilayers on GaAs
Masaaki Tanaka,J. P. Harbison,Timothy D. Sands,B. A. Philips,T.L. Cheeks,J. DeBoeck,L. T. Florez,V. G. Keramidas +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a new class of epitaxial magnetic multilayers consisting of ultrathin monocrystalline layers of two different metallic compounds, MnGa and NiGa, on GaAs substrates was created.
