Survival of and plasmid stability in Pseudomonas and Klebsiella spp. introduced into agricultural drainage water
TL;DR: The results of the present study demonstrate the influence of nutrients, O2, and native microorganisms on the survival of introduced bacterial strains and plasmid stability in agricultural drainage water.

Effect of an Alcaligenes faecalis inoculant strain on bacterial communities in flooded soil microcosms planted with rice seedlings
TL;DR: The fate and impact of Alcaligenes faecalis strain A1501R, a rifampicin-resistant derivative of a rice inoculant strain, were studied in flooded silt loam microcosms planted with rice seedlings to determine the potential for utilization of substrates of the Biolog system by these microbial communities.

Survival of genetically modified Pseudomonas fluorescens introduced into subtropical soil microcosms
TL;DR: A genetically modified strain of Pseudomonas fluorescens and its parent showed grossly similar decline rates following introduction into subtropical clay and sandy soils, and the decay rate of both strains was slower in planted than in unplanted sandy soil.

Rapid and sensitive method for the detection of Mycobacterium chlorophenolicum PCP-1 in soil based on 16S rRNA gene-targeted PCR.
TL;DR: A method based on 16S rRNA gene-targeted PCR and oligonucleotide probing was developed for detecting Mycobacterium chlorophenolicum PCP-1 in soil with a detection limit of 3 x 10(2) cells per g.
