Extending the lifespan of long-lived mice.
Andrzej Bartke,J. Chris Wright,Julie A. Mattison,Donald K. Ingram,Richard A. Miller,George S. Roth +5 more
TL;DR: It is shown that calorie restriction confers a further lifespan increase in the dwarfs, indicating that the two factors may act through different pathways.
Dietary restriction and life-span.
Andrzej Bartke,J. Chris Wright,Julie A. Mattison,Donald K. Ingram,Richard A. Miller,George S. Roth,David J. Clancy,David Gems,Ernst Hafen,Sally J. Leevers,Linda Partridge +10 more
TL;DR: The paper added further evidence that CR and df/df mice differ in important ways, by showing that restricted dwarf mice live longer than either normal dwarf mice or controls restricted to levels that are typically found optimal and by pointing out that CR seemed to affect the slope of the survival curve, while thedf/df genotype altered not slope but offset point.

Proteomic Specificity of Soft Contact Lenses for Tear Protein Sampling
R. Roden,Feng Jiang,N. Zuniga,Annika Nitz,Régis Burlett,J. Chris Wright,Christopher T. Shelton,Alexis Reed,Stephanie R. Latham,C. O. Roper,L. Patil,P. Christine Ackroyd,Samuel H. Payne,John C. Price,Knud A. Christensen +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors analyzed 8 different SCL materials to identify an optimal lens for tear protein sampling, and found that verofilcon A lenses yielded the most total protein while comfilcon A and senofin A had the least protein variability.
