TL;DR: An overview of the principles, recommendations and standards in the guidelines for quality assurance in CRC screening and diagnosis are presented in journal format in an open-access Supplement of Endoscopy.
Once-only colonoscopy or two rounds of faecal immunochemical testing 2 years apart for colorectal cancer screening (SCREESCO): preliminary report of a randomised controlled trial.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the effect of screening with once-only colonoscopy or two rounds of faecal immunochemical test screening on colorectal cancer mortality and incidence.
Interval cancers in a population-based screening program for colorectal cancer with gender-specific cut-off levels for fecal immunochemical test
TL;DR: In the population-based screening program of Stockholm-Gotland, the test sensitivity was higher and the IC rate was lower in women, which might imply lowering the cut-off level in men, however, the IC incidence rate relative to the CRC incidence was similar in both genders.

J. Blom,Deborah Saraste,Sven Törnberg,Håkan Jonsson +3 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that population-based CRC screening with FOBT was associated with decreased CRC mortality.
