Identification of two new types of S-linked conjugates of Etoc in rat.
TL;DR: Two major metabolites of 14C-labelled (4S,1R)-trans-Etoc were purified using a combination of chromatographic techniques and identified by spectroanalysis, establishing new types of S-linked conjugates (sulphonic acid and mercapturic acid types).

A new semi-automated chromosome analysis system for in vitro chromosomal aberration tests.
Kyoko Odawara,Keisuke Yamamoto,Hiroshi Kato,Masaki Hara,Shigefumi Kogiso,Fumio Kishida,Akira Yoshitake,Iwao Nakatsuka +7 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that this semi-automated chromosome analysis system, employing the Magiscan human metaphase finder, is useful in in vitro chromosomal aberration tests.

Comparative Metabolism of Procymidone in Rats and Mice
Kunio Shiba,Hideo Kaneko,Hiromi Yoshino,Noriko Kakuta,Kazuhiko Iba,Iwao Nakatsuka,Akira Yoshitake,Hirohiko Yamada,Junshi Miyamoto +8 more
TL;DR: The drug’s potential uses are still unclear, but it is likely to have an important role in the treatment of cancer.

14C‐labelling of optically active fenvalerate, α‐cyano‐3‐phenoxy‐benzyl (S)‐2‐(4‐chlorophenyl)‐3‐methylbutyrate (I)
TL;DR: In this article, an optically active insecticide was labelled with carbon-14 individually at the benzyl ring and the chlorophenyl ring for use in metabolic studies, which gave 1a in 29% yield from 2.

Improved syntheses of carbon‐14 labelled 3‐phenoxybenzyl [1R,cis]‐ and [lR,trans]‐3–(2,2–dichlorovinyl)‐2,2‐dimethylcyclopropanecarboxylates
TL;DR: In this paper, the Wittig reaction of methyl [1,cis]-3-formyl-2,2-dimethylcyclo-propanecarboxylate with carbon-14C tetrachloride followed by hydrolysis gave [1R, cis]- 3-(2, 2-dichlorovinyl-2−14C)-2−2−12C)-3−2ddimethylcyclopropane-carboxylic acid (VIa) in the overall yield of 33%.
