The pig as an experimental model for clinical craniofacial research
Jan Štembírek,Michal Kyllar,Iveta Putnová,Ladislav Stehlík,Marcela Buchtová,Marcela Buchtová +5 more
TL;DR: Not all of the structures in the pig and human have an equal morphology, and these morphological dissimilarities must be taken into account before choosing the pig as an experimental model for regenerative medicine.

Alteration of primary cilia morphology and associated signalling in ameloblastoma.
Jana Filušová,Iveta Putnová,Pavel Hurník,Zdeněk Daněk,Ctirad Machacek,Jan Štembírek,Marcela Buchtová,Barbora Moldovan Putnová +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , the SHH pathway inhibitor Sonidegib (LDE225) was applied to primary cilia in ameloblastomas and the results showed that SHH protein was located close to primary cells and the expression of molecules downstream of SHH signalling was upregulated.

The Expression of Selected Wnt Pathway Members (FZD6, AXIN2 and β-Catenin) in Canine Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma and Acanthomatous Ameloblastoma.
TL;DR: In this article, the expression pattern of Frizzled-6 (FZD6) was determined as one of the Wnt receptors in two of the most common canine oral neoplastic lesions-canine oral squamous cell carcinoma (COSCC) and canine acanthomatous ameloblastomas (CAA).
4
Metastasising ameloblastoma or ameloblastic carcinoma? A case report with mutation analyses
Pavel Hurník,Barbora Putnová,Tereza Sevcikova,Eva Hrubá,Iveta Putnová,Josef Skarda,Martin Havel,O. Res,Jakub Cvek,Marcela Buchtová,Jan Štembírek +10 more
TL;DR: A unique case of ameloblastic carcinoma associated with an alteration of Wnt signalling and the presence of BRAF mutation is uncovered, associated with an alteration of Wnt signalling and the presence of BRAF mutation.

Primary cilia and hypoxia-associated signaling in developmental odontogenic cysts in relation to autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease – A novel insight
D. Szaraz,Zdeněk Daněk,Břetislav Lipový,Jan Krivanek,Marcela Buchtová,Barbora Moldovan Putnová,Iveta Putnová,Jan Štembírek,Tomáš Andrašina,Lydie Izakovičová Hollá,Petra Borilova Linhartova +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , a possible association of developmental odontogenic cysts with primary cilia disruption and with hypoxia, which have been previously linked with cyst formation in ADPKD patients, was suggested.
