Integrating the common information model with MDS4
Iván Díaz,Gracia Fernández,M.J. Martinm,Patricia González,Juan Touriño +4 more
- 29 Sep 2008
TL;DR: The aim of this work is to provide a CIM-based query service for resource management information in grid systems by publishing the CIM information on the monitoring and discovery system version 4 (MDS4) component of the Globus Toolkit, and implementing a query engine that supports queries with arbitrary navigation depth on a C IM instance tree.

- 01 Sep 2014
TL;DR: The design, development and implementation of this software validation process are detailed, and an analysis is performed on several metrics to evaluate the process impact on the stability of the production infrastructure, by capturing malfunctions and other issues at the initial testing phases.

A middleware architecture for distributed systems management
TL;DR: The key features of the middleware that allows that any element (physical, logical, device, user or system) can be managed using a network-oriented and topology-independent approach are discussed.

A framework focus on configuration modeling and integration with transparent persistence
Iván Díaz,Juan Touriño,J. Salceda,Ramón Doallo +3 more
- 04 Apr 2005
TL;DR: This paper presents a framework that allows the extraction of configuration from its original format, models it via the CIM object-oriented information model, and persists and retrieves configuration transparently, independently of the repository, and retaining schema constraints.
