Tribological Performance Investigation of a Commercial Engine Oil Incorporating Reduced Graphene Oxide as Additive
Hakan Kaleli,Selman Demirtas,Veli Uysal,Ioannis Karnis,Minas M. Stylianakis,Spiros H. Anastasiadis,Dae Eun Kim +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the tribological behavior of commercialized, fully synthetic engine oil upon the incorporation of reduced graphene oxide in seven different concentrations between 0.01 and 0.2 wt %.

TL;DR: Varying the degree of oxidation of graphite: effect of oxidation time and oxidant mass - TLDR
The degree of oxidation of graphite is highly dependent on the mass of the oxidizing agent. Increasing the oxidant mass leads to a decrease of the total carbon content and an increase of the total oxygen amount.

The Role of Oxidation Pattern and Water Content in the Spatial Arrangement and Dynamics of Oxidized Graphene-Based Aqueous Dispersions
Anastassia N. Rissanou,Ioannis Karnis,Fanourios Krasanakis,Kiriaki Chrissopoulou,Konstantinos Karatasos +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of the oxidation pattern and of the water content on the organization of graphene sheets in aqueous dispersions and on the dynamic properties of the different moieties at neutral pH conditions are investigated.
