Novel wound dressing based on nanofibrous PHBV-keratin mats.
Jiang Yuan,Jiang Yuan,Jia Geng,Zhi-Cai Xing,Kyoung-Jin Shim,Insook Han,Jung-Chul Kim,Inn-Kyu Kang,Jian Shen +8 more
TL;DR: From wound‐healing test and histological examination results, it was shown that the composite mats accelerated wound recovery remarkably as compared to thePHBV control and it was concluded that PHBV–keratin may be a good candidate as a wound dressing.

Effect of poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyvalerate) nanofiber matrices cocultured with hair follicular epithelial and dermal cells for biological wound dressing.
Insook Han,Kyung Jin Shim,Jung Yong Kim,Sang Uk Im,Young Kwan Sung,Moon Kyu Kim,Inn-Kyu Kang,Jung Chul Kim +7 more
TL;DR: PHBV cocultured with ORS/DS cells could be used as a cell-seeded biological dressing, thereby reducing preparation time as well as regenerating the epidermis efficiently during the early stage of wound healing.

Expression pattern and intensity of protoporphyrin IX induced by liposomal 5-aminolevulinic acid in rat pilosebaceous unit throughout hair cycle
TL;DR: Developed liposomal formulation of 5-aminolevulinic acid (ALA) to enhance topical delivery and examined ALA-induced protoporpyrin (PpIX) expression in rat pilosebaceous unit throughout hair cycle found expression pattern and intensity changed in hair cycle-dependent manner.

Liposome Formulations for Effective Administration of Lipophilic Malonatoplatinum(II) Complexes
TL;DR: In both cell lines, the liposomal DBM complex in the DMPC/DMPG formulations was much more cytotoxic than the corresponding DAM and ABM complexes, which means that the more hydrophobic benzyl substituent affords higher cytotoxicity than the allyl substitution in the malonato leaving group.

Gene expression profiles related with overcoming cisplatin resistance in human cancer cell lines
Moon Kyu Kim,Young Jin Park,Ok Ju Kim,Gab Yong Lee,Eun Jung Chung,Young Kwan Sung,Jung Chul Kim,Insook Han,Youn Soo Sohn +8 more
- 01 Jan 2003
TL;DR: It is shown that microarray analysis is useful for evaluating the overcoming in cisplatin resistance and can efficiently be custom applied as an indicator of maintenance or lack of cisPlatin resistance in chemotherapy for predicting therapeutic efficacy.
