Pharmacodynamic interaction between the new selective cholesterol absorption inhibitor ezetimibe and simvastatin
Teddy Kosoglou,Ingo Meyer,Enrico P. Veltri,Paul Statkevich,Bo Yang,Yali Zhu,L. Mellars,Stephen E. Maxwell,James E. Patrick,David L. Cutler,Vijay Batra,Melton B. Affrime +11 more
TL;DR: The coadministration of ezetimibe at doses up to 10 mg with simVastatin 10 or 20 mg daily was well tolerated and caused a significant additive reduction in LDL-C compared with simvastatin alone, while reported side-effects were generally mild, nonspecific, and similar among treatment groups.

Pharmacokinetic interaction trial between co-artemether and mefloquine.
Gilbert Lefèvre,Margaretha Bindschedler,Farkad Ezzet,Nicole Schaeffer,Ingo Meyer,Mikael S. Thomsen +5 more
TL;DR: No clinically relevant risks due to pharmacokinetic drug-drug interaction are expected at the enzymatic level following co-administration of co-artemether with CYP3A4 substrates with similar affinity to that of mefloquine.

Cardiac effects of co-artemether (artemether/lumefantrine) and mefloquine given alone or in combination to healthy volunteers.
Margaretha Bindschedler,Gilbert Lefèvre,Farkad Ezzet,N. Schaeffer,Ingo Meyer,Mikael S. Thomsen +5 more
TL;DR: Untoward effects on the QTc interval are unlikely to occur when co-artemether is administered following prophylaxis or treatment with mefloquine, and adequate systemic exposure to artemether, dihydroartemisinin, lumefantrine and meFLoquine was revealed well in line with the clinical setting.

Effects of ezetimibe on the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of lovastatin.
Teddy Kosoglou,Paul Statkevich,Ingo Meyer,David L. Cutler,Bernhard Musiol,Bo Yang,Yali Zhu,Stephen E. Maxwell,Enrico P. Veltri +8 more
TL;DR: The co-administration of ezetimibe and lovastatin has the potential to produce clinically significant reductions in LDL-C compared to either drug alone, with favorable safety and tolerability.
