Hydrothermal synthesis of prism-like and flower-like ZnO and indium-doped ZnO structures
TL;DR: In this article, an indium-doped ZnO structure with different morphologies was prepared by hydrothermal method at 150°C and the structure formation was controlled by the zinc ion/hydroxide ion molar ratio and presence of l -histidine in the reaction mixture.

ZnAl-layer double hydroxides as photocatalysts for oxidation of phenol in aqueous solution
Ágnes Patzkó,Robert Kun,Viktória Hornok,Imre Dékány,Imre Dékány,Thomas Engelhardt,Norbert Schall +6 more
TL;DR: The photocatalytic properties of the heat-treated ZnAl-LDH were studied in a batch reactor with aqueous phenol solution as substrate in this article.

Growing and stability of gold nanoparticles and their functionalization by cysteine
TL;DR: In this article, trisodium citrate reduction method was used to control the size of particles by changing the concentration of HAuCl4, and the average particle size measured by DLS is higher than that obtained by TEM at a zeta potential of -40 mV.
Hybrid Langmuir–Blodgett monolayers of graphite oxide nanosheets
TL;DR: In this paper, high ordered monolayers of graphite oxide (GO) were assembled on hydrophilic substrates by the Langmuir-Blodgett technique.

- 12 Aug 1998
TL;DR: In this paper, a compound material containing a polymer matrix and a modified organic double layer hydroxide, in which monomers or oligomeric anionic organic compounds with more than 6 C, or if less than 6C have a double bond, are interposed between the layers, and the X-ray determined distance between the interposed double layers is 1.5 nm is new.
