TL;DR: A systematic review of the literature on family presence during pediatric and neonatal resuscitation has not been previously conducted as discussed by the authors, where the authors identified two key sets of findings: first, parents/family members want to be offered the option to be present for their child's resuscitation and health care provider attitudes varied widely (ranging from 15% to >85%).

Ian R. Drennan,Guillaume Geri,Steve Brooks,Keith Couper,Tetsuo Hatanaka,Peter J. Kudenchuk,Theresa M. Olasveengen,Jeffrey L. Pellegrino,Stephen M. Schexnayder,Peter T. Morley,Implementation Education,Teams,Bls Task Force,Eit Task Force +13 more
TL;DR: The sensitivity and specificity of cardiac arrest recognition at the time of emergency call varied across dispatch centres and did not appear to differ by dispatch algorithm/criteria used or education of the dispatcher, although comparisons were hampered by heterogeneity across studies.
